Based on the belief that people learn best through experience these programs are highly interactive and participant focused. Ideally they will
be adventure-based programs and can last from several hours to several days and can occur in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Team development and leadership training sessions provide opportunities for learning new skills or building on those that already exist. In an adventure-based program participants engage in a series of increasingly complex mental and/or physical challenges which are designed around specific learning goals.

The sequence of activities will likely require various levels of risk-taking, communication, and problem solving for tapping the individual resources
of the group. New skill and insights from the discussions that follow the activities help to transfer learning beyond the program into concrete
work-life results.
